Mark your calendars for Saturday December 3rd at 10:00 AM at the Winnebago Council Service Center (2929 Airport Blvd. Waterloo, IA 50703) to learn more about the Canoe-Camping Experience in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness of Northeast Minnesota.
B.W.C.A.W. information, trip planning facts, and helpful tips will be shared by experienced canoe-camping enthusiasts and guides.
Whether you are interested in a ‘Troop/Crew’ trip, ‘Family Trip’ or ‘Friends Trip’ we will be proving insights as to B.W.C.A.W. regulations, outfitting opportunities, permits required, route planning, local Ely Minnesota attractions and much more.
Specific plans will also be presented regarding several planned trips for the summer of 2017.

Basic personal requirements to participate on a B.W.C.A.W. trip would be ability to swim, have health record, and if under the age of 18 years a parental permission. Generally the minimum age per youth would be 14 year. All females and males welcome to attend.
