BSA has developed a series of awards to encourage boys to take part in STEM related areas. STEM areas include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The Boy Scouts of America has long been a proponent of encouraging youth to explore the world around them. Many of the initiatives proposed by STEM are already a part of our program for youth.
